Fluent in English or German
Minimum 3 years experience as Frontend Developer, developing visually appealing frontend website architecture, including translating ready-made designs from UX team into frontend code
Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
Solid experience as a member of agile teams like SCRUM / Kanban
Excellent coding skills and experience with Test Driven Development
Drive to develop highly readable and maintainable code
Experience with cross-platform app development (iOS and Android)
Strong React Native, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML knowledge

What the job involves

Implement features for our mobile app on iOS and Android using React Native
Implement data visualizations using d3.js
Implement communication to the backend using GraphQL and REST
Communicate with our UX team regarding new features
Communicate with our backend team regarding API implementations

Our take

With the ability to merge the data and metrics of over 300 health apps and services, ONVY is bridging the gap between the booming fitness app business, spearheaded by the likes of Fitbit, and analytical machine learning. The company stands out from other health app companies through its AI Health Coach, which matches conversational and generative AI adapted to the user with available health data from connected devices and apps. This curates a health and fitness plan that fits seamlessly into the user’s current routine.

With the ability to connect to leading brands, ONVY has been awarded seed funding from German football player Timo Baumgartl, which is bound to draw in an audience of sports enthusiasts and professionals.

However, this may be soon pose a slight problem - ONVY’s target clientele is weighted towards seasoned fitness enthusiasts, even professional athletes, who would benefit from more curated fitness coaching. Whilst this audience could be lucrative, ONVY may benefit and grow quicker if it widened its product to accomodate to more than just who it calls “high performers”.
