Role
Who you are
- A solid IT background combined with strong security experience
- Experience with LAN / WAN technologies and an understanding of network protocols to be able to provide input into Firewall, Intrusion detection / prevention and Penetration testing
- Experience with Desktop environment (Patching, Anti-Virus, drive encryption, event logs) for Microsoft software
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, SSCP is desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of Risk assessment particularly in an ISO 27001 environment
- Experience with Server environment (Patching, Anti-virus, server hardening, event logs)
- Familiarity with risk or business impact assessments (fundamentals of Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity)
- Understanding of best practise in infrastructure management including Change, Problem and Incident Management
- Minimum of five years' experience in a role with defined security responsibilities
- Follow defined standards and security requirements
- Communicate effectively to internal teams and business users within the organisation
What the job involves
- Lead the effort to improve the cyber security maturity of our organization
- Develop, build and execute a roadmap for overall IT security operations and risk management
- Design and document information policy security and procedure
- Perform ongoing risk assessments and risk remediation control selection
- Develop policies and procedures for proper onboarding and offboarding of employees and their access to systems as well as auditing
- Provide technical advice and assistance to projects both on infrastructure and application design from a security perspective
- Ownership, implementation, and management of:
- End-point protection
- Threat and vulnerability management
- VPN
- Laptop and computer hard disk encryption
- Security awareness and phishing campaigns
- Develop strategy for MFA for critical systems and password management
- Develop and document business continuity plan
- Lead PCI DSS compliance strategy as required
- Appropriate handing of security incidents, including any special requirements for confidential and personal data in line with GDPR
- General IT support needs, equipment ordering and proper asset tracking

In 2022, the company strengthened its business and capital structure in order to ensure future growth, including an organizational restructuring program that hopes to cut costs by $4 million by the end of 2023. This was intended to build stronger global business operations and enhance its operating margins. With post-IPO equity of nearly $4 million achieved in 2023, Motorsport Games plans to use the proceeds to fund more games.
