Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in software development
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile development methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, and test-driven development
Experience leading teams of engineers
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

Experience working on e-commerce or marketplace platforms is a plus

What the job involves

Lead the design and development of our platform, working closely with the product team to define technical requirements and solutions
Collaborate with other engineers to ensure the scalability, security, and quality of our software
Mentor and guide other members of the engineering team, helping to develop their technical skills and providing feedback on their work
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our platform and the timber industry, ensuring that our software meets the needs of our users
Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement
Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, identifying opportunities to improve our platform and stay ahead of the competition
