What the job involves
- As the Senior Director, Product, focused on Enterprise & Agencies, you’ll shape the strategy for a critical segment of our business, translating customer insights into bold product strategies that drive growth and innovation.
- Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you’ll own the roadmap, lead a team of Product Managers, and act as the bridge between our customers’ needs and our long-term vision, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the market
- This role brings both strategic vision and operational excellence, connecting product strategy to go-to-market execution across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success. You’ll influence executive decisions, helping define the future of our platform and driving meaningful outcomes for our largest customers and partners
- Shape the product strategy: Define and drive the strategy for our largest customers and agency partners. Focus on scale, compliance, integration, and delivering business outcomes that align with customer needs
- Lead with vision: Own the long-term product direction, balancing innovation with product stability. Translate big ideas into actionable roadmaps, setting a clear path forward
- Mentor and inspire: Lead a team of Product Managers, creating a culture of growth, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Help your team push boundaries and make an impact
- Collaborate and align: Work closely with Engineering, Product Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to connect product strategy with go-to-market execution. Ensure messaging, positioning, and customer engagement are cohesive and impactful
- Build customer connections: Develop lasting relationships with customers and partners. Use insights from these relationships to shape product evolution and address complex challenges
- Leverage data: Use data to make informed decisions, validate hypotheses, and measure product success. Combine quantitative insights with real-world feedback to continuously improve and stay ahead of industry shifts
- Communicate with clarity: Present product roadmaps and key insights to executive leadership, ensuring alignment and supporting strategic decisions
- Focus on customer journey: Understand the full lifecycle from discovery to adoption, ensuring the product consistently delivers value and meets the evolving needs of enterprise users

Platform.sh makes it easier for web developers to build websites and apps without having to worry about maintaining web infrastructure – something that’s become increasingly complex on the cloud. Using the platform, developers can deploy sophisticated, out of the box architectures and infrastructures.
There’s been a lot of activity in the lucrative Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) market over the last few years. Indeed, the market is growing at nearly 20% annually, with companies like Heroku and Vercel doing very well. However, with a large customer base that includes Orange, Adobe, Nestlé, and The Financial Times, Platform.sh is doing more than just holding its own.
After a major funding round in 2022, which was led by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, the company has continued to rapidly grow its globally distributed workforce, with a keen eye on expanding further in the US as well as Western Europe.
