Role
Who you are
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a software development or organizational environment
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to coach Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency in using Agile metrics and tools to enhance team performance
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Program Consultant) are a plus
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to guide our organization through the adoption and optimization of Agile methodologies
- The Agile Coach’s primary focus will be ensuring Agile practices are performing as expected and leveraging feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement
- This role involves providing guidance and oversight of Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, optimizing team processes, and enhancing productivity and efficiency
- Additionally, the Agile Coach will assess team and organizational performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase Agile maturity and success
- The Agile coach will support varying product and engineering roles for internal and outsourced teams
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to teams and individuals to enhance their Agile skills and competencies
- Act as a mentor to team members, helping them understand and apply scaled Agile frameworks, and empowering them to deliver high-quality results
- Product Management Development: Coach and develop best practices for Product Management, with a focus on defining work (Initiatives, Epics, and Stories) and refining backlogs
- Continuous Improvement: Leverage metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and better team outcomes
- Facilitate progress checkpoint surveys to evaluate Agile maturity and uncover further coaching and training needs
- Facilitating Agile Practices: Oversee Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Ensure effective implementation of Agile practices and support teams in embracing Agile values and principles
