Who you are

We are looking for a Fulll-stack Engineer with Spring and Angular expertise (gn) at the earliest possible date
Extensive experience with Java, Spring ecosystem and PostresSQL
Extensive experience with Typescript, Angular and HTML/CSS
Experience writing high quality integration, unit and end-to-end tests
Excellent understanding of object-orientated programming and design patterns
Excellent written and verbal English
Experience building UX/UI solutions and understanding Design Systems
Experience with Linux and Docker
DevOps experience is a plus
Ability to perform autonomously and take ownership

What the job involves

You will work in a small SCRUM team focused on maintaining and evolving a brown field (i.e.: established codebase), tailor-built solution for some of the most important Proemion customers
You will be in direct contact with the Stakeholders and will actively engage with them in planning, executing and monitoring
You will promote and support the continued use of modern software development practices such as CI/CD, testing (i.e.: Testing Cone), code quality, etc. according to Proemion R&D manuals
You pro-actively look for ways to maintain an appropriate speed of execution without incurring irreversible technical debt in the long term
You pro-actively look for ways to simplify the UI for the customer

Our take

Proemion builds products to digitise machinery, and offers a range of connectivity solutions to allow manufacturers to operate, monitor, and gather performance data on machines that they control remotely. Amongst its customers are major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Liebherr, CLAAS, and KAISER.

Given its product focus, you’d be forgiven for assuming that Proemion is a disruptive industry 4.0 startup. This isn’t the case at all however, with the company dating back to 1987 and still remaining family-owned. It’s an impressive feat that it’s stayed ahead of the curve, and in its own way pioneered the digital evolution in its industry.

The company is showing no signs of complacency in a market that’s ripe with opportunity at the moment, and recently secured major growth funding as it looks to further expand internationally, despite already running offices in Germany, South Korea, and the US.
