Who you are
- 1 year of experience in email or performance marketing required, with support of a Sales-driven organization a plus
- Preliminary knowledge of email standard methodologies, from subject line creation to email structure to A/B testing, all crafted to drive performance
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven approach, using results to support strategy is a requirement
- Organized, detail oriented, ability to multitask
- Strong communicator with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Eloqua a plus
What the job involves
- Getty Images’ Marketing team is looking for an Assistant Manager, Email Marketing to join the team, based in New York
- This position will be responsible for developing and implementing email campaigns to drive recruitment, activation and retention of our creative photographers, videographers, and illustrators (“creators”), supporting the goals of the Creator Relations and Creative Content teams
- This role will partner with our wider Marketing Creative and Marketing Operations teams to ensure creators receive a consistent experience which aligns with the Getty Images brand
- This role will build engagement campaigns that resonate with creators, facilitate the translation of those campaigns into multiple languages for creators across the globe, implement email best practices, ensure flawless campaign execution, maintain the email calendar, and ensure the health of the email channel by managing unsubscribe rates
- Reports to the Director, Integrated Marketing
- Develop regular newsletter emails and content briefing emails that are relevant and personalized to creators with the goal of driving engagement and the submission of content (images, videos, Custom Content)
- Partner with Marketing Creative to drive the email creation for all campaigns by writing clear creative briefs and providing direction to ensure a consistent experience across communication channels
- Work with Marketing Operations to set up, test and deploy email campaigns
- Maintain the email calendar
- Work closely with the Creative Content, Marketing Creative, and Marketing Operations teams to build automated, triggered email campaigns that support key stages of the creator lifecycle, with a focus on high-potential creators
- Support the research and development of email personalization capabilities, working with Data Science to identify new data fields to leverage in triggered campaigns
- Dive deep into the performance of the email channel and make recommendations for enhanced testing based on segmentation and lifecycle stage
- Build a testing program for email campaigns, including ongoing reporting on our creator communications engagement across all channels and downstream effects
