Who you are
- Stability AI’s Security team is looking for a security engineer who has experience applying Information Security across a broad range of technical areas, working with teams to implement secure infrastructure, and a passion to elevate the security posture of a growing company
- Candidates should have experience with cloud security, network security, working with SIEMs, and incident response
- Cloud operations or security experience
- Penetration testing experience
- Automation / Python programming experience
- Training and working with generative models
What the job involves
- The person will closely work with IT, Security, product, and engineering teams to ensure a high caliber and collaborative effort to reduce our risk landscape and attack surface
- Assessing environment and driving security initiatives towards best practices (CIS, NIST, etc)
- Help develop internal security standards and policies
- Building, enhancing, and using the capabilities of a SIEM for investigations and IR
- Working within the cloud environment to build security monitoring
- Applying technical security knowledge and helping teams achieve their security goals
- Analyzing and improving logging across the company for security needs

Working in partnership with Amazon Web Services, Stability AI's latest release, Stable Diffusion is a text-to-image model that utilizes the Ezra-1 UltraCluster (the world's fifth-largest supercomputer). The model quickly proved to be a success, with four of the top ten applications on Apple's App Store being powered by Stable Diffusion after just one month.
The company is also focused on expanding its creative sector offerings, recently hiring legendary filmmaker James Cameron to bring an artistic perspective to its suite of storytelling tools. This exciting development will help Stability AI push the boundaries of AI-driven media and help on its mission to transform visual storytelling.
