Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations (payroll, administration, contracts)
- Experience in an international or multicultural environment
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and/or Italian labor law and payroll practices
- Fluent English + Dutch or Italian required
- Solid experience with HRIS and payroll tools (e.g., Workday, CloudPay)
- Advanced Excel skills
What the job involves
- Contract length: 7 months with perspective of indefined from 2027
- At the core of HR operations in Europe, this role ensures the accurate, compliant, and timely execution of HR and payroll activities across multiple countries, with a focus on the Netherlands and Italy
- You act as a key operational partner, supporting the full employee lifecycle while serving as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers in a fast-paced, international environment
- Manage end-to-end multi-country payroll processes in collaboration with external providers
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of salaries, social contributions, and legal obligations
- Administer employee benefits programs (insurance, pension, mobility, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Draft and manage employment contracts, amendments, and offboarding documentation
- Advise managers and employees on labor law (Netherlands & Italy) and HR policies
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes (including visas/work permits where required)
- Maintain compliant and audit-ready employee documentation
- Manage sickness and absence processes in line with local regulations
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR data in HR systems
- Process payroll-impacting changes and employee lifecycle updates
- Act as the main point of contact for HR and payroll queries
- Produce regular HR and payroll reports
- Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation

Its flagship product, the Skypod, is an autonomous mobile robot programmed to deliver goods from shelves to workers. It prioritises the most urgent orders received on the warehouse’s systems, maximising efficiency.
Exotec’s has some big-name clients, fulfilling warehouse management needs for the likes of Decathlon and Uniqlo. Considerable funding has accelerated its expansion from Europe into the US. It has also made inroads into Japan with new partnerships with integrated logistics provider Alps Logistics and fulfilment service acca International.
