Group Financial Controller, Givergy

• Strong financial management experience in a SaaS and/or Fintech business
• A qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with at least 3 years PQE
• Leadership experience, with a proven ability to get the best out of a small team
• Willingness to get involved in day-to-day execution and support wherever needed
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills, with a mindset for automation and AI tools
• Experience with Xero, Salesforce CRM, and operating in multiple currencies
• Resilient, driven, and motivated to build—not just maintain

Desirable

• Lead and evolve our finance function (currently 3 FTEs) with a strong mix of management and hands-on execution
• Roll up your sleeves to help with process fixes, reconciliations, and report builds where needed
• Oversee AR/AP, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and monthly management reporting ensuring all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances
• Collaborate with external accounting firms in each region for compliance and audit readiness
• Prepare timely monthly consolidated management accounts, including balance sheet, cashflow, KPI dashboard and support the understanding of performance
• Manage the production of annual consolidated and company-only financial statements
• Manage the audit process and liaise with external personnel
• Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Present reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members as required
• Identify and implement process improvements and AI-driven efficiencies
• Support and coach the team, setting the bar high while staying in the trenches with them
• Partner with the senior leadership team to inform and shape business strategy
