Principal Business Manager, Mission Lane

• Proven ability to problem solve end-to-end: from framing the question and forming a hypothesis, to analyzing the data, to communicating and debating the answer with other stakeholders
• Familiarity with SQL, python, or other tools for data analysis
• 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical role
• Bachelor’s or Masters in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative field with record of strong academic performance

• As a Business Manager, your role will be as an individual contributor and leader on the Customer Growth team
• This team is responsible for driving the growth of the business by adding new customers, launching new marketing channels, and optimizing our marketing strategies, all while staying true to our mission
• You will be expected to use data driven analytics to optimize how we acquire customers, manage our channels, and make investment decisions
• Own the marketing activities and performance metrics in one or more marketing channels used for customer acquisition
• Analyze campaign performance data to inform marketing strategy, optimize targeting, and improve product offerings to prospective customers
• Optimize current acquisition strategies in response to customer behavior and changing marketplace conditions, leveraging first party and third party data sources to inform decisions
• Enable long-term growth by pushing forward our testing agenda to invest in future growth capacity. You will explore growth levers such as product pricing, targeting, marketing messages and formats, and conversion on our website amongst others opportunities to build your roadmap
• Work cross-functionally across Mission Lane’s partner teams to improve profitability by refining creative strategy, pricing, targeting, and the end-to-end customer journey.. You will partner with our Product, Data Science, and Credit teams, as well as members of the senior leadership team
