Role
Who you are
- You bring a minimum of 2-4 years experience in sustainability—whether in-house or as a consultant. Experience working across multiple sectors is a plus
- You have an appetite for data-related projects, experience in a technical environment or SaaS is a strong bonus
- Experience in delivering training to a professional audience is a plus."

- A good understanding of climate change, carbon accounting, ESG standards, and sustainability overall and the ability to speak the same language as our customers (especially when it comes to carbon accounting)
- Fluency in both French & English is mandatory

What the job involves
- This role combines onboarding and implementation of our customers, providing technical support to partners, and contributing to knowledge-sharing resources, all while collaborating with a passionate team to create a sustainable future.In this key role, you will be the primary contact for many of Sweep’s diverse and ambitious clients
- You will lead the customer training, the implementation process, to ensure smooth project delivery, and coordinate efforts with our partners to meet customer needs effectively
- Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs
- Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges with technology
- Help a diverse range of customers onboard and implement Sweep to track their carbon emissions, ESG metrics, fulfill their voluntary and legal reporting requirements, and take action on their impact
- Work with customers either directly or by providing technical support to our implementation consulting partners
- Share best practices and advise customers on how to make the most out of Sweep for their specific use cases, enabling them to meet their business goals effectively
- Our success depends on our customers achieving their sustainability goals and taking meaningful action. Customer care and empowerment are at the heart of this role
- Contribute to the continuous development and refinement of our onboarding and implementation approach
- Provide expertise to develop enablement materials, such as guides and training resources
- Share your sustainability and platform knowledge with customers, team members, and the wider business (sales, product, and more) through webinars, articles, and thought leadership content
- Collaboration is key to our success, and this role requires active engagement with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to achieve shared goals
- Support Sweep-hosted events and promote sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally
- Serve as a trusted resource for customers and colleagues, addressing challenges proactively and identifying solutions
Our take
Even as eco-friendly sentiment increases, the vast majority of companies aren’t measuring their emissions accurately and regularly. And, with ESGs and carbon-tracking ramping up the corporate agenda, companies are scrambling for solutions, especially in light of the coming sustainable reporting regulations.
Sweep, which targets carbon management in large enterprises at the FTSE 500 level, delivers software that enables users to "take control of their climate journey" - with a toolsuite that makes carbon data collection, security and analysis seamless and automated.
With Sweep, the burden on companies to track their impact is lessened, leaving them to focus on actively reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to global net-zero efforts. Though there are other players in the market, such as Plan A, Watershed, and Emitwise, Sweep has secured itself a leading position with smart partnerships and a deep focus on the specific tech requirements of the space.
The company has seen good funding, being one of the best-funded carbon management platforms on the market. In 2022, Sweep interestingly reported on the ineffectiveness of traditional carbon offsetting - which has for some time been up for debate - and published a carbon reduction methodology designed to "limit financial and reputational risks and add moral weight to corporate climate programmes". It is now partnering with technology companies like 3Degrees and Urbanomy to build new decarbonisation strategies for businesses.
