Who you are
- Passionate about technology & programming
- Good knowledge of Javascript and keen to work with the technologies in our tech stack
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in computer science/ engineering or a related field
- You’ll need somewhere quiet to work from and participate in meetings
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to join one of our Rocket Lawyer teams
- You will join and be an active member of the team, responsible for writing high quality tested code, delivering benefits to our customers
- You will learn how an effective cross-functional engineering team operates, participating in Agile scrum ceremonies and experiencing the full software development lifecycle
- This could be participating in technical design discussions, doing code review or triggering builds on our continuous deployment pipelines
- Reports to: VP of Engineering
- What does a successful internship look like?
- You’ll have delivered code into our production systems
- Familiarized yourself with the technologies we use and why we use them
- Worked and collaborated as part of an effective engineering team
- Duration: Starting June 2024 for 10 weeks, 37.5 hours a week
