- 10+ years in B2B SaaS Partnerships within Enterprise and/or Contact Center space (AI/ML experience preferred)
- Proven success navigating complex partner ecosystems (integrators, consultancies, resellers)
- Track record of executing strategic vision to achieve revenue targets
- Experience scaling partner programs from early-stage to maturity
- Strong negotiation skills with understanding of legal and compliance considerations
- Executive-level presentation and public speaking abilities
- Established network of relevant partnerships, especially with emerging technologies and major marketplaces
- Leadership skills with ability to drive cross-functional change
- Collaborative approach working with Engineering, Product, Finance, Marketing and Sales
- Financial modeling and experience with PRM/CRM tools preferred
What the job involves
- We're looking for a Director, Channel Partnerships, who will be responsible for building ASAPP's Channel Partnership Strategy and accountable for its successful execution
- Partnerships will contribute significantly to our growth strategy in 2025 and beyond, complementing ASAPP's existing Sales & Delivery teams
- The Director will report to the VP, Head of Partnerships and Business Operations, manage relationships with existing channel partners, source new strategic partners, and be supported by our Partner Manager
- Develop and execute channel strategy that delivers measurable pipeline and revenue
- Recruit strategic partners through effective sourcing, vetting, and negotiation
- Create streamlined partner onboarding and enablement processes with playbooks and joint marketing materials
- Establish certification and training programs for channel partners
- Manage stakeholder relationships across customers, prospects and partners, developing co-selling/co-marketing opportunities
- Developing and refining high-level integration architecture between ASAPP & channel partners
- Translate ASAPP's technical capabilities into compelling partner value propositions
- Align channel strategy with company-wide objectives and OKRs
- Forecast, maintain and close channel-sourced revenue pipeline
- Define and track KPIs to measure channel program performance
- Represent ASAPP at industry events and partner conferences
Our take
With around 70% of purchases driven by customer experience, call centers are an important part of many large companies' sales operations. But call centers have a problem retaining skilled agents, with high pressure and workloads leading to a turnover rate more than double other workforces. ASAPP is aiming to fix that by providing AI tools to support call center agents by reducing their data entry and reporting workload.
ASAPP is by no means alone in this space, with other startups such as Lang, Gong and Cogito entering the AI call-center market along with growing interest from giants such as Amazon and Google. But it's early start (ASAPP was founded in 2014) and focus on development of its NLP models gives it an edge that it seems set to retain, with a client base consisting of enterprise companies such as JetBlue, EY and American Airlines.
In 2024, ASAPP continued to lead the way in generative AI for contact centers, with the launch of its GenerativeAgent product, redefining customer service by automating 99% of interactions and boosting efficiency and satisfaction. With strong partnerships and a history of success, ASAPP is ready for even more growth.

(Chief Architect)Nirmal joined ASAPP in 2021 as a Director of Machine Learning Infrastructure. Since then, he has held a number of roles and moved into the role of Chief Architect in 2025. Previously, he served as the CTO at TRANSFR and spent 19 years at IBM, joining as a Software Engineer before becoming a Solutions Portfolio Manager, Development Manager of IBM Watson Education, and Development Leader of Watson Education Platform.
