Senior Accountant, data.ai

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required, MBA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in mid-size companies or public companies. Public accounting is highly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing technical analysis and guidance under US GAAP
• Proven track record working in global, multi-entity environments with multiple currencies and jurisdictions
• Experience with M&A, ASC606 and ASC340 in mid-size SaaS companies
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel

Desirable

• The Senior Accountant will maintain accounting policies and process controls so that the company can meet its financial reporting obligations and timelines
• This role will oversee global general ledger, statutory compliance, balance sheet integrity, and internal controls while driving continuous improvement in systems and processes
• Prepare Journal entries and reconciliations across multiple legal entities and currencies in accordance with US GAAP
• Collaborate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Assist with external audits ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure proper governance and risk mitigation
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Partner with senior leadership to provide clear, actionable financial insights that support business strategy
• Partner with IT and Finance leadership to evaluate and implement ERP enhancements or transitions
