Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of managing SDRs at fast-paced, high-growth companies
- Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding KPIs
- Extensive history developing and promoting SDRs within your organization
- Deep experience with CRM software and SDR tooling
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
- Passion for training, motivating, and coaching in a fast-growth environment
- Lead with a player-coach mentality: hands-on, empower teams to creatively problem-solve, and is motivated to mentor up-and-coming talent
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, collaboration and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
What the job involves
- We're looking for a Sales Development Manager to help build, scale, and optimize our Sales Development program at Assembled
- As an SDR Manager you will be an integral part of the Revenue leadership team at Assembled and will play a key role in helping us develop a world class sales organization
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of SDR’s, the strategy and operations of our outbound & inbound sales motions, and the data expert on our sales development team
- You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships to achieve growth targets
- Ideally, you’re a multi-sport revenue athlete that knows how to lead, train, teach, write, and strategize
- In other words, this is not your typical SDR management role
- We’re especially interested in the person who embodies heart, emotional intelligence, and mentorship while also staying focused on performance, results, and winning!
- In general, we're looking for someone comfortable operating in ambiguity and doing what it takes to help us grow the business
- Train the SDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
- Build a playbook across different segments of the business to generate consistent opportunity flow for the sales team
- Ensure SDRs improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring 1:1s
- Prepare SDRs for career advancement within Assembled's sales organization
- Help create a fun, high-energy environment where people love coming to work
- Motivate team members through creative incentives
- Oversee usage of sales technology tools
- Regularly report on team and individual results
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales to test, iterate, and identify winning messages in out outbound sequences
- Work closely with the sales leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes

Assembled helps streamline cumbersome and error-prone customer support processes - such as planning support rosters, forecasting demand, and evaluating team performance.
Assembled already counts companies like Zoom, GoFundMe and Stripe on its customer books, and finds huge opportunity in key industries like eCommerce and food deliveries that have been seeing massive digital overhauls. Having received significant investment, the company seems set on continued growth, with funds cited to support product development as well as help launch its CX Scholars initiative, that will commit a percentage of revenue to continuing education for support workers.
