Who you are
- Demonstrable experience as a Data Analyst
- Experience in data mining
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
- Knowledge of VBA, R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform is an asset
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau and/or Power BI)
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Superb communication and presentation skills
- MSc in Business Analytics, Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred

- We're looking for a Data Analyst to support report development, the growth of our cloud data solution, including developing smart tools & automations to assist decision-making of teams across LDC to drive productivity gains, greater controls and enable staff to transition from low-value tasks to higher value, high impact work
- In this role, you should be familiar with data query tools, data pipeline connections, including APIs, be highly analytical with a curiosity for analysis and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data
- We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research
- Identify automation opportunities and solutions to business challenges
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
- Oversee the processes and systems used for analysis and reporting, including user troubleshooting
- Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Support the growth/maintenance of the data solution, including building machine-learning algorithms
- Collaborate to develop reporting to support current and emerging needs
- Support the drive for data quality and data governance
