Role
Who you are
- Experienced developing high quality consumer iOS Apps that delight and entertain customers
- You have a passion for clean code and automated testing
- A solid understanding of releasing apps to the App Store
- Strong analytical and critical thinking, open to rational change
- You work well in a team setting, adapting to and influencing team practices
Desirable
- Not afraid to get stuck in with other areas of engineering and open to learning new technologies
What the job involves
- You will be working within a small agile development team using the latest tech to build a world-class mobile explore-to-earn product and form the foundation for future scalability
- Drive the development of all client-side features of the application
- Write and build reusable code to implement amazing user experiences
- Optimise the application for speed and scalability
Application process
- Check-in call with our Head of Talent
- 45 minute introductory video call with VP Engineering
- 90 minute video call including a coding exercise that will take approximately 60 minutes. You will be asked to share your screen as you design code to meet some fun challenges
- 30 minute video conversation with other members of the leadership team

Pioneering a new category of “Explore2Earn”, Hyper SQ is bridging the gap between the metaverse and the real world. Users fall into two categories, Explorers and Creators, and will earn crypto by exploring locations, sharing content, and levelling up their Explorer NFT.
Currently, the company is in its Phase 1 Early Access stage, consisting of a private beta release for iOS and its core Explore2Earn reward mechanics. The company’s invite-only Phase 2 (which will include a public NTF Release and in-app NFT marketplace) and Phase 3 (which will include an Android release, integrated AR features, and optimized social features) will provide the company with the opportunity to continually optimise the platform throughout its development stages.
By giving users a space to take advantage of Web 3.0 through real-life exploration, Hyper SQ’s well-backed innovative platform is well set to see growth as it leads this new crypto category.
