- Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within product management
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate global cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, including the capability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in driving product innovation and managing product portfolios through various lifecycle stages
- Proven ability to design and implement product methodologies and processes that deliver innovation at scale
- Champion for user-centered design principles to create intuitive and seamless experiences for our customers
- Strong relationship-building skills with key customers to drive continuous improvement and customer-centric product development
- Expertise in Enterprise SaaS product delivery and go-to-market strategy
- Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and using data and insights to inform product strategy
- Experience in Product-Led Growth is a plus
- 10+ years leading product & design organizations and people leadership
- 7+ years for a SaaS/Cloud organization
- Industry-leading expertise in product management and design, within a global software development organization
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus
What the job involves
- The VP of Product Management, Employee Communications and Workplace is a strategic, innovative leader responsible for guiding the vision, strategy, and development of our Employee Communications and Workplace products as well as the underlying platform
- You'll lead our design and product teams to realize the product vision and deliver customer value in alignment with business goals and objectives
- A collaborative leader and team builder, you will inspire teams to achieve exceptional results
- Define a clear and compelling product vision aligned with the company's overall strategy
- Identify market opportunities by analyzing customer needs and drive the development of a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to bring innovative, scalable, and market-leading products to life
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance, track user engagement, and measure the success of product initiatives
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, emerging trends, and disruptive opportunities that can reshape our product landscape
- Identify potential risks, challenges, and obstacles related to product development and devise mitigation strategies
- Work with the product leadership team to align product strategies with overall business objectives and contribute to strategic decision-making
Our take
Poppulo delivers the world’s first communications experience platform, Poppulo Harmony, that unites multiple communications channels in one content creation and publishing experience. Through the Harmony platform, businesses can improve both internal and external communications, improving employee engagement and the customer experience.
Poppulo was first launched as an email marketing solution, but it underwent a dramatic rebranding in order to focus on internal communications. This move proved successful, with the company going on to serve thousands of businesses including Santander, Rolls-Royce and ASOS. And in 2021, a merger with Four Winds saw Poppulo valued at around $1B, establishing it as a major player in the communications market.
It was in 2022 that Poppulo released the Harmony platform, adding customer communication capabilities to its employee engagement toolkit, and becoming a one-stop-shop for all its clients' communication needs. Since then, the company has focused on international expansion and strenghthening its leadership team, while contunuing to invest in AI. Most recently, Poppulo became the first digital signage provider to achieve ISO 42001 certification for Responsible AI, reinforcing its position as a trusted, enterprise-ready platform as AI becomes increasingly central to workplace communications.
