Who you are
- 5-7+ years of relevant, external facing experience in Account Management and Revenue Operations at publisher, platform or digital advertising space
- 2+ years experience managing a team
- Experience building a foundational team that can efficiently scale with a business
- Strong ability to multi-task across multiple high priority and time sensitive projects and stakeholders
- Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills
- Experience with Salesforce is a must
- Experience and comfort in a start-up environment is a plus
What the job involves
- GIPHY is seeking a Senior Director, Revenue Operations
- You will help us build and lead our Account Management and Ad Operations teams to ensure the success of campaigns and satisfaction of our advertising partners
- This position reports directly to the VP of Creative Strategy who co-leads our Ads Department
- Scale and lead the GIPHY Ads Account Management team, responsible for all pre- and post-sale contractual support of the GIPHY Revenue Team, working with the sales leaders to manage day-to-day deal close, kickoff, and wrap up
- Lead, develop and implement ad operations workflows, processes and systems, and oversee day-to-day campaign operations with the goal of maximizing revenue and driving client success and renewal
- Partner with GIPHY Finance and Operations leadership to build tools and processes to efficiently execute campaigns and recognize revenue
- Own and manage GIPHY ad pricing and the rate card, including all related internal and external approval processes
- Be a key stakeholder to our product and engineering organizations to build products that increase revenue, win rates, and operational efficiency
- Cultivate the efficiencies of revenue operations: on-time launches, restriction of campaign under-delivery, optimal plans for operational success, accurate client reporting templates, etc
- Ensure outstanding execution of trafficking, reporting, billing, and overall campaign management while delivering against campaign KPIs
- Orchestrate a team which provides best-in-class customer service to ensure sold campaigns exceed objectives while driving incremental revenue via proactive upsell/renewal opportunities. Focus on satisfaction, retention, and growth
