Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader and proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, builds alignment across teams, and turns “never been done before” initiatives into consistent precedents and scalable processes
- 5-7 years work experience (inclusive of school)
- You have successfully led multiple projects and priorities across multiple teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with data and identifying actionable insights; can read and interpret SQL queries
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace apps
- Experience/background in the Life Science industry is a strong plus
- You can connect technical changes in the codebase to commercial outcomes—tracking feature releases to ensure teams stay aligned on what’s live
- MBA is preferred
What the job involves
- Doximity seeks a strategic and organized Strategic Operations Manager to ensure the success of the cross-functional teams that support our largest commercial offering
- This is an opportunity to solve complex problems, drive measurable outcomes, and scale a rapidly expanding commercial solution
- You'll become an expert on our commercial solution—understanding its strategy, operations, and data flows
- Manage day-to-day project activities and administration across multiple workstreams
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery
- Prioritize and refine requirements, support customization and launch efforts, and coordinate cross-functional dependencies
- Anticipate risks, propose solutions, and drive accountability across teams
- Develop and maintain reporting on project health, milestones, and KPIs
- Collaborate across internal teams (Client Services, Sales, Data, Product, Sales Ops, Finance) to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
Our take
Doximity provides an app to connect physicians, so they can stay on top of medical news and in touch with their peers. Establishing itself as the "LinkedIn for Doctors", it has become the largest community of healthcare professionals in the US, with a large majority of doctors, NPs & physician assistants among its verified members.
Though there are other platforms out there connecting physicians, Doximity appears to be regarded as the leader in this space, boasting a large and established presence. Amongst its successes is the fact that its "Doximity Dialer" platform has twice been recognised as 'Best in KLAS’ in the Telehealth - Video Conferencing Platforms segment at the KLAS awards.
Since its 2021 IPO, Doximity has significantly grown its revenue, primarily through allowing drugmakers to promote products and services to doctors, and acting as a recruitment tool for medical systems. The company is currently focused on developing its product, increasing its utility through integrations with health record systems and adding AI administrative tools. It is well poised to achieve its ambitious goal of attaining $1 billion in annual revenue by 2028.
