Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for digital media, and a desire to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in digital design, including internships or freelance work
- Must be proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital and graphic design projects
- Strong understanding of core design principles and typography
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (After Effects and Premiere Pro)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail alongside excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to take constructive feedback and work effectively in a collaborative environment where people share work daily
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt and a high level of self motivation
- Conscientious, trustworthy, and reliable, with a natural desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver them to the highest standards
- Knowledge of responsive design and web development principles
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies
What the job involves
- As a Digital Designer, you will work closely with the Digital Design Director and the rest of the creative and marketing team to create engaging and visually appealing digital assets
- Collaborating with the design and marketing teams to develop creative concepts and translating them into visual solutions
- Conceptualising and designing solutions in response to regular project and ‘business-as-usual’ briefs
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing innovative ideas for digital campaigns
- Setting a consistent design aesthetic across digital and real-life touchpoints, effectively communicating our brand language, values, and unique points of difference
- Ensuring all digital design work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel
- Leading in the creation of digital design assets, including emails, social media content, paid social and display ads
- Assisting in website design, global campaign concepting, art direction and printed communications such as point-of-sale materials and product manuals
- Creating new motion graphics for our digital channels to enhance engagement and visual appeal
- Regularly updating templates to ensure they remain current and effective
- Ensuring all creative assets are organized and stored in a searchable manner on the shared workspace
- Continuously challenging and staying updated with the latest design trends to ensure innovative and fresh designs
- Proposing new graphics and layouts to elevate the brand across all platforms

Cowboy has recognised this transformation happening in cities internationally, and has responded by creating an e-bike that incorporates design elegance, affordability, and tech.
Cowboy’s smart e-bike is forward-thinking and sleek, with integrated lights and a carbon belt transmission that replaces the traditional bike chain. It connects to an app through which its riders can access a whole range of features and services — such as a secure key, live stats, GPS tracking, a repair service, and crash detection. Cowboy is also the first e-bike maker to include a navigate-by-air-quality feature in its app.
Cowboy has competition in VanMoof, another European e-bike manufacturer, but the company's unique approach to software should give it an edge in the market. One key new feature is “AdaptivePower,” which can automatically adjust the power of the motor depending on the current slope and weather conditions. Alongside its launch, the company has raised fresh funding that will support it through the after-effects of the economic downturn, as it looks to double down on sales.
