Who you are
- Has a minimum of 3 years in a client-facing role, ideally in financial services, private banking, private equity, or investment management
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Possesses FINRA licenses (Series 7, 24, 63) or is willing to obtain them upon joining the company
- Demonstrates a confident, professional communication style with the ability to engage sophisticated investors
- Applies a structured and organized approach to work, with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, independent, and resourceful — able to thrive in fast-moving, evolving environments
- A team player with a global mindset and enjoys working across cultures and time zones
What the job involves
- As a Private Equity Sales Associate at Moonfare, you will be a key driver in building lasting relationships with high-net-worth individuals and family offices
- You’ll play a vital role in guiding investors through the private markets landscape, ensuring they receive tailored advice and exceptional service at every step
- This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a global client base while collaborating across teams to deliver a seamless, high-impact investor experience
- Own investor accounts with a focus on building a long-term, high-quality investor portfolio
- Convert qualified leads into active investors by understanding their needs, articulating Moonfare’s value proposition, and guiding them through the investment journey
- Take a hands-on approach to portfolio oversight and performance discussions, offering data-driven insights tailored to investor goals
- Confidently manage complex client questions, concerns, and objections — always aiming to deliver clarity and value
- Prepare presentations, portfolio summaries, and communications that deepen trust and reinforce Moonfare’s value proposition
- Bring a critical eye to internal processes and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and the client experience
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Investments to ensure a seamless and coordinated investor experience
Our take
Many high-level investment opportunities are solely reserved for financial institutions. This means that top-tier equity funds are completely out of reach for most private investors. Moonfare solves this problem by giving individuals access to institution-level investing.
Moonfare's platform allows investors to participate in funding rounds offered by some of the biggest investing companies, including The Carlyle Group and Tiger Global. The company offers investment opportunities with investment minimums as low as €50,000, which is about 100x less than the traditional minimum. So, while not everyone can afford to make investments through the company, a much larger pool of people have the ability to enter private markets.
Moonfare is headed up by an impressive team of KKR, BlackRock, Amazon and J.P. Morgan alums, which adds significant credibility to its product. The platform has also grown considerably since launching and more recently partnered with Fundcraft to enhance its digital infrastructure, automate fund administration, KYC, and capital call processes. This integration enables eligible investors to register and invest directly online in minutes, an exciting feat which will surely catch the eye of many investors.
