• Our teams build and maintain the platforms critical to the existence of Coinbase. There are many teams that make up this group which include Product Foundations (i.e. Identity, Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub), Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure)
• The Coinbase Travel Rule Platform Engineering Team's mission is to make TRUST the industry-leading Crypto Travel Rule solution to provide comprehensive compliance across the crypto industry and maintain robust protection of customer privacy and security
• You will join the Coinbase Travel rule team focused on building the end-to-end experience, by providing world class user experience using frontend technologies and building the backend services using micro services architecture
• You’ll lead the multi-year roadmap for making engineering and platform development at Coinbase a joy. To help drive this roadmap, you’ll embed with our product teams and listen to their customer needs, working together to accelerate their efforts
• Architect and develop distributed systems
• Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise
• Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
• Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used by every engineering team in production (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, etc)
• Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
