Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years+ of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably inside sales
- Bilingual proficiency in German and English is required
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Bachelor’s diploma/degree or equivalent work experience; background in healthcare or medical sales is an asset
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools and processes
- Self-motivated and competitive, with a hunter mindset and a commitment to exceeding sales goals and work independently
- Ability to handle objections, build trust quickly, and drive urgency
- Experience conducting virtual or remote sales, including managing online demos, remote negotiations, and digital client engagement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs
What the job involves
- As an Inside Sales Representative at Clarius, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by engaging healthcare professionals and selling Clarius’ mobile ultrasound products. As our team continues to expand, this role is integral in supporting our growing presence across Europe and meeting increasing demand across key markets

- This is a quota-carrying role that demands high energy, strong sales instincts, and a passion for building relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Clinical teams to qualify leads, nurture opportunities, and drive pipeline growth
- You’ll be set up for success with a strong support system, but you'll thrive if you're a motivated self-starter with a hunter mindset; someone who’s proactive, curious, and driven to exceed goals
- Inbound Lead Management: Engage with inbound leads via phone, email, and virtual meetings to qualify interest and convert to sales opportunities
- Outbound Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential customers using a combination of cold calls, email campaigns, and social selling
- Pipeline Development: Manage and nurture a pipeline of early-stage prospects, moving them through the buyer journey toward a close
- Customer Discovery: Understand customer needs, challenges, and goals to deliver tailored value propositions
- Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to align on lead quality, follow-up strategy, and campaign performance
- CRM Management: Log all interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM (Salesforce)
- Sales Excellence: Meet and exceed activity KPIs and sales targets in a high-velocity sales environment
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments to confidently articulate Clarius’ value
Our take
The big issue with handheld ultrasound isn't the device - it's reading the images. These tools are now portable and affordable enough for everyday use, but interpreting blurry, grayscale scans (especially of complex organs like the heart) still requires specialist training. So that leaves many primary care doctors relying on referrals, which can slow down diagnosis for common but serious issues.
Clarius Mobile Health builds handheld ultrasound devices paired with AI software to tackle this issue and interpret scans in real time. Its T-Mode feature splits the screen to show both the standard image and a color-coded, labeled version, making anatomy much easier to understand. Clarius has expanded this across multiple use cases and developed 16 AI models (6 FDA-cleared), with its devices used for nearly 7M scans worldwide.
This is obviously a huge deal, the company unsurprisingly reached profitability in 2025 and reported around 20% growth, while expanding to more than 70 countries. Its focus on making ultrasound easier to use (not just more portable) puts it in a very good position for the future. If this kind of adoption continues, it could help turn ultrasound into a routine tool in everyday primary care.
