Who you are
- Must be a current U.S. citizen
- Must be currently residing in or near Austin, TX. No other locations will be considered at this time
- 9+ months Enterprise SDR experience
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Comfortable speaking on the phone and engaging with people
- Quick learner with a curious mindset
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Google, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

What the job involves
- The Enterprise Sales Development Representative will prospect leads, qualify accounts, and generate pipeline opportunities for our Sales Teams
- You will be the front line for presenting Orum to prospects and a key player in the business's overall success
- A successful Enterprise Sales Development Representative typically has exponential growth, as this role may lead to many other career opportunities, such as Account Executive, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Operations, and more

- Prospect and Qualify Leads: Engage potential customers and qualify leads, identifying prospects that align with Orum’s target market
- Generate Pipeline Opportunities: Actively build and maintain a steady flow of prospects to support our sales teams
- Present Orum’s Value: Serve as the front line in introducing Orum’s solutions to potential customers, effectively communicating our value proposition and creating interest
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Account Executives and other team members to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and support overall sales goals
- KPIs & Quota:
- Daily Call Targets: Make 150 dials per day (or 750 per week) using Orum’s advanced calling platform
- Daily Prospecting: Add 30 new prospects to the CRM daily and target 10+ accounts each day to keep the sales pipeline active
- Qualified Meeting Quotas: Achieve the following quarterly quotas based on segment focus
- Enterprise Segment: 25 Qualified Meetings Occurred (QMO) per quarter
Our take
While Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft have undoubtedly helped shorten the sales cycle, particularly by helping generate high value leads, the onus is still on sales teams to manually reach out to potential customers.
This part of the sales process has long been taken at face value, despite how much time sales agents lose by calling bad numbers, reaching voicemail, and navigating existing account data.
Orum is aiming to change this with an AI-powered platform that filters out poor numbers and automates voicemails. It calls multiple numbers simultaneously, all in a bid to get sales reps on live calls as quickly and often as possible. That Orum plugs into the major CRMs like Salesforce, rather than competing with them, should help its cause.
Orum’s trajectory has been very positive thus far, frequently expanding its headcount, achieving impressive Series B funding and winning a number of high-profile customers such as Salesforce partner Simplus and data protection company Clumio.
