Who you are
- 12+ years of experience in business development or strategy roles
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing senior-level relationships with external customers and partners to deliver sales
- Proficiency in Keynote and experience developing and presenting strategic concepts to senior leadership in a large-scale corporate environment
- Proficiency in Excel and experience developing robust financial models
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Resourcefulness and flexibility to thrive with limited direction in an ambiguous work environment
- Natural motivation to identify, build, and grow business opportunities
Desirable
- Experience in the retail, telecommunications, or consumer electronics industries
- Experience in management/strategy consulting or related field
- Proficiency with analytical software (e.g., Tableau)
What the job involves
- In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives across Apple-branded Accessories, AppleCare+, AirPods, and Beats by Dr. Dre
- You will build strategic relationships with key reseller partners around the world, guide regional teams along the critical path to close deals, and develop and evolve playbooks to generate demand at scale
- You will bring strategic insight and thoughtful analysis to support these efforts, and deliver persuasive presentations to ensure alignment amongst internal stakeholders and inspire external partners

Since taking over at Apple, Tim Cook has been carefully curating the company's reputation as a champion of consumer privacy, trying to set the company apart from others that monetise their users' data.
The company even went as far as to introduce sweeping privacy changes which made it difficult to tailor ads to Apple’s 1bn+ iPhone users. This rocked the $400bn digital ads market, seriously harming the revenue of its bigger rivals in the lucrative industry and forcing them to rebuild their ad infrastructure.
Despite this, the company has been shaken by supply chain issues and moved a considerable amount of its manufacturing from China to India, and increased its Vietnam presence. This is because of multi-pronged production disruption in China, the second largest customer market for Apple, and triggered an estimated 10% revenue drop in the first quarter of 2023.
