What the job involves
- You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective new customers, either helping them book in for a technical session or onboarding them before their call
- You’ll follow our simple process to quickly review their home’s suitability for solar (training provided), before calling those with great potential
- Although supported by daily touchpoints with your sales manager, you’ll also be given the autonomy, tools and volume of leads needed to hit your targets
- You’ll work as a vital part of our thriving sales team, which is collaborative, competitive and driven to succeed
- You will be driving to make the UK less dependent on fossil fuels
- You will be immediately upskilling your sales ability so you can be ready to step into the Sales Executive role. We expect you to move up within 4-6 months

Sunsave is building what replaces your energy supplier. Energy companies sell power from a grid that gets more expensive every year. Sunsave believes the future of energy is decentralised, and they're building the company that brings that to the masses.
The national grid is creaking. Only 40% of a household's energy bill is actually used; the rest is grid cost, levies and policy costs. Even if wholesale energy prices drop, bills will keep increasing for decades. People are paying for a problem they didn't cause and can't control.
As energy decentralises, home energy is unbundling: a different company for the install, another for monitoring and maintenance, another for the financing, another for battery optimisation & trading. Sunsave bets that whoever puts it all back together into a single bill and a joined-up customer experience wins.
Founded in 2022, Sunsave lets people switch without paying anything upfront and offers an all-in-one package with kit, installation, finance and long-term protection. Battery optimisation and grid trading let customers charge when energy is cheap and sell it back when it's expensive, balancing the grid, earning money while they sleep and pushing their bill towards zero.
The traction shows their bet is paying off, with Sunsave raising a £113m Series A in 2025 and growing 3x that year. Growth is accelerating further in 2026, placing the company in the top 20 of Sifted's fastest-growing UK startups list two years running.
