Product Designer, Metabase

• Strong intuitions and craft developed over 5+ years of product design experience. Your work will rely on research and analytics, but it will shine because of solid instincts and craftsmanship
• Experience designing rich, deep web applications/tools
• Technical enough to understand at a high level what's happening inside the engineering black-boxes. (If you don't understand the complexity, how can you simplify it?)

• Reimagining the experience for exploring and visualizing data
• Overhauling the UX for writing custom expressions
• Crafting customizable, embeddable components for our SDK
• You will deliver end-to-end design solutions that are truly elegant, beautiful, fun, and simple
• Keep complexity from creeping into the product, while giving users ever more power
• Be a thought partner with your team’s product manager to refine the problem definition, goals, and rough scope of projects
• Iterate rapidly and broadly in scrappy ways that make abstract ideas tangible and which move conversations forward
• Deeply internalize the needs and mindset of our users through insights provided by the broader team. UX research skills aren't needed, but welcome
