Role
Who you are
- 2+ years experience in people ops and/or coordination at a startup or small company
- A passion for human resources
- An interest in investments or financial technology is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- HRIS experience (Paychex a plus)
- Familiarity with Google Suite tools (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Slides Google Docs, etc)
- Strong time-management and organization skills with an obsession for details
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build relationships across the organization
- Innovative spirit, self-motivated with a desire to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to function effectively with others on the team and independently
What the job involves
- This individual will work collaboratively across the team to develop and implement key processes, manage employee data and maintain our systems
- This individual will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism and support key Cadre team moments and celebrations
- Provide support to the People & Talent team, across key processes and programs including performance management, learning and development, employee relations and engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employees with HR related inquiries; answer employees in a professional manner and triage complex inquiries to the right parties
- Support new hires during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for each new hire
- Partner with related departments to ensure onboarding and offboarding is smooth
- Organize information, employee files and maintain electronic records
- Ensure that employee records are accurate and up-to-date
- Partner with the People Programs Manager and People Partner to redesign and automate business processes in our HRIS (we use Paychex)
- Handle confidential and non-routine information when necessary
- Help organize company events and employee engagement
- Manage office vendors and processes for our New York office to ensure that our space meets the needs of our team
Our take

However, other financial instruments such as investment opportunities in real estate largely remain accessible only to professional investment firms and individuals due to their low level of liquidity.
Cadre provides a commercial real estate investment platform for individuals and advisors, allowing investors to diversify their portfolios into property to increase their wealth generation. The company achieves this through its Cadre Secondary Market, which matches buyers and sellers in order to provide liquidity every quarter, instead of over many years.
It’s undeniable that there are other investment opportunities for individuals who want to diversify into real estate, but Cadre has recognised the financial inaccessibility to this due to the low liquidity of property. Through its real estate funds, deal-by-deal platform and secondary market, the company have reduced this liquidity time and thus the length of commitment real estate investors must have, opening up the market to new audiences.
