Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth

- 5+ years of sales experience in technical B2B SaaS solutions, with a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling SaaS solutions or software products in mid-market (deal sizes USD $10K to $100K range)
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry and/or experience selling to aviation-related businesses
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, navigate organizational structures, and build consensus among stakeholders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively and influence decision-making
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth
- Fluency in English and ideally German speaking, other languages would be a plus
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to client meetings and industry events as required
What the job involves
- The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by managing the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure
- This role will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored solutions that address their challenges
- This role reports to the CEO
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the EMEA market
- Identify and qualify leads, leveraging inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting efforts, and networking opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to articulate the value proposition of our SaaS offerings
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales Development, Marketing, and Product, to ensure alignment and support throughout the sales process
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and navigate contract discussions to successfully close deals
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on pipeline activity using CRM software
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Represent TrustFlight at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our solutions and expand our network
- We sell to aviation operators, MROs, OEMs and regulators
- We manage a transactional sales cycle that is 6 months+, discipline, patience and relationship building will prove success in our environment
- We practice leadership at all levels, where we adhere to integrity, excellence and responsibility

Our take
TrustFlight develops intelligent workflow automation platforms and other tools with the aim of improving levels of efficiency and safety across the aviation sector. Currently, the company’s suite of products caters to maintenance programmes, technical support, tech and engine logs, and operational and equipment management.
It’s a slim sector to be operating in - and one would think it would pit TrustFlight head to head with a prohibitively strong slew of industry giants. TrustFlight, however, is seeing good growth - and has even partnered with the likes of Boeing to bring blockchain verification methods to aviation supply chains.
This integration of sourcing and the blockchain is proving a smart and lucrative bet across various industries, given the tightening regulatory focus on promoting supply chain oversight.
