Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting, Marqeta

• 10+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, with a minimum of 3 years in a people-management role, preferably in-house at product-led tech companies
• Proven experience in executing high levels of productivity and developing high-performing recruiting teams
• Highly emotionally intelligent, with the demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team that has a collaborative, empathetic, and high-performance culture
• Excellent communication, adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated experience driving sourcing and recruitment strategies as well as process and tool optimization
• Familiarity with a variety of ATS and other recruiting tools; experience with Greenhouse and Ashby is a plus

• Lead and manage a team of recruiters, focusing on hiring for positions up to the Senior Director level
• Occasionally manage searches yourself, typically for Director+ roles
• Partner with & advise C-level leaders in Product and Engineering on hiring strategies
• Influence decision-making, processes, and outcomes using data and metrics
• Develop and implement strategic hiring plans for the team or business group
• Drive team-wide projects/programs and contribute to refining and improving recruitment processes, tools, resources, and strategies
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that ensures each team member feels that they belong
• Build strong partnerships with senior leadership and other cross-functional partners
• Oversee the creation of hiring strategies for roles and profiles, ensuring fair and consistent structured interviews
• Lead complex offer negotiations, providing guidance on compensation and benefits
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines, utilizing multiple channels for sourcing, conducting market research, and leading collaborative sourcing efforts
