Paralegal, Wattpad

• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles, procedures, and documentation in a public company environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A paralegal certificate from an accredited program is preferred
• At least 2-4 years of experience as a paralegal
• Relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably with a focus on corporate law and governance
• Familiarity with corporate law principles and practices
• Understanding of legal research methods and resources
• Knowledge of contract law and general business law
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with governance management software
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to take ownership of tasks
• Discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Spoken and written Korean fluency

• We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Paralegal to join our Legal team. In this position, you will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support across various areas of corporate law, including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and litigation support
• Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including preparing legal drafts, handling corporate correspondence, and maintaining minute books
• Assist in managing shareholder communications and support the preparation of annual reports and proxy statements
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Prepare resolutions, meeting minutes, and agendas for board meetings, committee meetings, and shareholder meetings
• Support M&A transactions by managing data rooms, assisting with due diligence, and preparing closing checklists and closing binders
