Who you are
- Proficient in German is a prerequisite

What the job involves
- A Technical Consultant will work as part of a new growing team in Germany, assisting customers in making the best use of the Atlassian product suite, such as Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related productivity technologies, in order to deliver value to their business or organization
- This role will be helping customers to integrate systems, automate processes, and achieve efficiencies. This typically ranges from providing expert guidance and solution design, mainly around ITSM and PPM solutions to “hands-on” work with product setup and migrations
- As a Technical Consultant, the role will also take part in pre-sales - offering solutions, providing estimates, and producing proposals. The position will naturally involve maintaining and improving knowledge of the Atlassian product suite and related technologies
- Own the role of technical expert in how customers can get the most value out of the Atlassian toolset, including, configuration, customization, performance optimization, and best practices
- Gather client requirements and conduct information-gathering workshops
- Provide thought leadership to client stakeholders in solving business and/or technical problems, including identifying pros, cons, and risks of potential solutions
- Guide customers through adopting changes to their current processes based on recommendations
- Prepare all customer-facing deliverables, including engagement reports, systems design diagrams, runbooks, and training materials
- The Consultant will be required to work with and support Business Development with their sales process and also contribute to Solution Design Documents

Worked as a Senior Security Consultant for Barclaycard, and was Director of WTG. First joined Adaptavist as a Board Advisor, and was made CEO in 2010.

Reece joined TAG as an Associate Software Engineer in May 2019. Within 5 months, they advanced to Software Engineer, then to Senior in under two years, and by September 2024, became Staff Engineer.
Sarah joined TAG as a Project Manager in 2017 in the Toronto office. They found their true calling in Sales and made an internal move a couple of years later and have since advanced to become a Strategic Sales Executive.
Rodrigo initially worked with TAG as a Contractor before joining the UK team permanently as a Commercial Operations Analyst. Since then, they moved to the Madrid office as a Business Operations Manager.
