What the job involves
- The Customer Support team at VERO plays a crucial role in assisting Renters applying through our platform and Managers reviewing and managing applications and leases
- Our primary support channels are chat and email, but we also engage with users via phone
- Provide exceptional customer support through chat, email and phone
- Assist Renters and Managers with applications
- Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a focus on the overall user experience
- Explain complex topics in clear and concise language
- Share feedback actively and participate in team discussions to improve processes and customer experiences
- Follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and established processes to ensure consistent and reliable support
- Be flexible and adapt to changing needs and priorities within the team
- Be upfront and ask questions when unsure to ensure accurate and effective support

The process of leasing a property can be a daunting task, with property managers having to verify applicant IDs, screen them for fraud, assess credit scores, and conduct other background checks. This process requires a lot of repetitive research and data entry, but unfortunately, it is necessary to avoid the even costlier potential for high-risk renters.
VERO Leasing provides an automated residential leasing platform for lenders, focused on automating repetitive processes such as checks into ID verification, employment, criminal record, and right-to-rent documents. The company claims that this technology can reduce leasing application processes to just 24 hours, whilst guaranteeing that successful applicants have been thoroughly vetted.
Whilst many other startups are innovating within property leasing, these generally specialize in property management workflows or marketplace listings, whereas VERO Leasing has uniquely focussed on automating risk assessments and verifications.
