Who you are
- You are looking to work in a dynamic operations role of a high growth/startup business and are excited about global working
- You have a passion for customer experience and directly engaging with your customer
- You’re competent with Google sheets / Excel and can run analytics, formulas and data tracking independently
- You have ideally held an internship or have some professional experience in a role requiring the usage of data, reporting or people operations
- You have a solution focussed approach, constantly striving to find effective and efficient ways to solve problems
- You demonstrate a ‘get things done’ attitude and are a team player motivated by shared goals
- You are open-minded and enjoy working with people of various backgrounds and cultures
- You are intellectually curious, love to solve problems and figure out how things work
What the job involves
- As the leading talent investor, EF is a people focused business, and our 100 strong team of employees and network partners are dedicated to maximising the success of our founders, community, and the startup ecosystems in which we operate
- Spread across London, Paris, Bangalore and New York, we work together as global and local teams to continue to build out our platform and enable the next generation of entrepreneurs to found important companies with us
- Working as the first point of contact for the People team, reporting to our People Partner, this role will join a small but thriving HR team working at the core of EF
- Our size will enable you to have contact with all of our global team, including our leadership, and our culture embraces ownership for making an impact at all levels
- Therefore, this is a great opportunity to stretch your skills in a dynamic, fast paced environment where you will be exposed to employee lifecycle management, global total rewards and building trusting and sustainable relationships globally
- Be the first point of contact for the organisation for any questions or support required related to People Ops or benefits
- Manage the People Ops process and workflow for onboarding and offboarding EF employees
- Ensure our People Operations data is updated and managed accurately via our People systems, including HiBob
- Liaise with our finance team and external vendors to coordinate the monthly payroll process
- Run reports and maintain dashboards for people data and analytics to generate insights to be used in people planning
- Create employment contracts and other employment related letters/documents
- Continue our quest for increased automation by linking tooling and exploring opportunities for process improvement
- Send employee communications for any People Operations changes
- Take on additional tasks with the People Partner and Head of People, such as data collection and analysis for our salary benchmarking process
