Who you are

  • You have 10+ years of working experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools
  • You have 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team of data analysts
  • You have experience working with product teams to help them understand how their product is being used, ultimately informing what new features we need to build to hit our KPIs
  • You are an expert in SQL, and are excited to continue to scale our dbt models and mentor your team of analysts on the same
  • You have experience working with Looker or other similar data visualization tools (tableau, etc), both creating the data model and building dashboards
  • You have strong user empathy - you can deeply understand the core issues stakeholders are having and translate them into solutions that meaningfully improve their ability to operate
  • You focus on impact, finding the things you that deliver the most value for your stakeholders
  • You have exceptional communication skills, and are comfortable working independently with executive level team members

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a new leader in our business intelligence (BI) organization to continue to shape our embedded analyst program at Spring Health
  • This is a player coach role. You will directly collaborate closely with the billing team to streamline billing and payment processes, improve reporting around billing, and drive revenue collection
  • Additionally, this leader will manage a team of five embedded analysts across various product teams and marketing, revenue operations, and finance
  • You will have the opportunity to shape the way our embedded analyst team integrates with our product teams, partnering closely with other data science teams and analytics engineering teams
  • [IC] Work with the billing team to understand their current data landscape, learn about the team's data needs and current pain points, and develop a design for a revised data infrastructure that addresses these issues
  • [IC] Collaborate with the core BI and data engineering teams to implement the revised data infrastructure design in dbt
  • [IC] Use the revised data infrastructure to build out the tools, analyses, and dashboards that will enable the RCM team to track key claims metrics, assess the payer trends and efficacy of our claims revenue cycle, and enable the team to quickly identify drivers of poor efficiency in the process
  • [IC] Enhance data visibility and streamline billing processes to reduce days sales outstanding and improve revenue collection
  • [IC] Automate manual steps in billing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • [MGMT] Manage and grow a team of five embedded analysts across multiple product and business areas, including marketing, revenue operations, and finance. This includes 1:1s, performance reviews, etc
  • [MGMT] Work with the director of business intelligence to continue to refine the embedded analyst program, with a focus on growing skills and expertise on the team specifically in the area of product analytics
  • What success looks like in this role:
  • Reduce the amount of time teams spend manually pulling data to inform decisions
  • Develop tools and analyses that enable the billing team to hit their own KPIs - you’re successful when you help your team be successful!
  • Continue to grow and mentor the team of analysts you manage, building technical and soft skills and enabling them to increase the impact they can deliver to their own teams

Our take

Large companies often provide employees with mental health services, but small businesses find it challenging to offer similar support. Additionally, existing support systems are usually generalized, failing to deliver the personalized mental healthcare that individuals need. To address this gap, Spring Health has developed AI-driven tools for employers to create tailored mental wellness plans for their employees, including treatment options, daily routines, and medication plans based on individual data.

Spring Health has recently expanded its services to the family and pediatric space through the acquisition of Weldon, offering mental wellness guidance to parents. This expansion includes chats with therapists, social workers, and parenting coaches, as well as group support with other parents and access to educational content. By focusing on personalized care, Spring Health aims to enhance mental wellness support for families alongside its existing employee services.

The behavioral health market is projected to grow to $242B by 2027. While many solutions prioritise fast access to therapy or meditation, Spring Health differentiates itself by emphasizing the right type of care for each individual. With substantial funding raised, Spring Health is well-positioned to continue its innovative approach to mental health services.
