Role
Who you are
- PhD in computer science or applied mathematics (you must not have held a permanent position since you graduated)
- You need to be located in France (this position is not open to relocation)
- Good knowledge of a programming language, ideally Python
- Proven understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) theory especially deep learning
- Experience with ML libraries (Pytorch, Tensorflow, …)
Desirable
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP), recommender system, graph neural network (GNN) would be huge advantage
- Experience with a Cloud environment, ideally GCP
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Previous experience working with Airflow and BigQuery
- Ability to design models and put them into production
What the job involves
- Advance ML applications at Malt in order to improve several topics including the quality of matches on the marketplace
- Conduct literature reviews on topics related to the problems data scientists are solving at Malt (matching, recommendation, moderation)
- Apply state of the art machine learning approaches to these problems
- Communicate effectively your findings to technical and non technical people
