Who you are

Deep understanding of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitLab or Concourse
Proficient in all Build/Release/Deploy aspects of software life cycle and specialised in Telco Cloud automation through open-source dev ops tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
Experience with Source version control systems (Git/SVN) and Nexus as repository Manager
Knowledge and exposure of ETSI Mano based NFV orchestration solution COTS Based Nokia NCOM/CBND or Open Source based such as OSM or ONAP
Working experience with Scripting languages (Python/Ansible) to automate from Instantiation to Service Ready Network Functions (VNF/CNF/PNF) on Open Stack /Kubernetes Platform
Working experience of deploying network function as a service in highly available and resilient way
Very good Understanding and deployment experience of Kafka, API Gateway, persistence technologies (Relational, NoSQL), ELK, Grafana, Prometheus and Zabbix are desirable

What the job involves

Build, Manage, Maintain and Operate the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipeline for Network applications on Sky Telco Cloud providing
Charging and rating for any service type (Voice, Data and SMS/MMS) or customer type (pre-paid, postpaid and hybrid)
Provisioning interface to BSS systems
Continuous improvement and optimisation of build and deployment capabilities to reduce time to deploy network functions into production
Facilitate the trigger of automated functional and non-functional testing through the pipeline in test environments using the tool sets adopted by the project dev and test team
Identify, Isolate, and solve issues in deployment of network applications in Dev, Test, Staging and Production platforms
Technical engagement with Vendors to understand the VNF/CNF Packages delivered by them and ensure the package along with its artefact2 can be deployed on Sky’s Telco Cloud environment using the CI/CD Pipeline
