Who you are
- You have a track record of exceeding targets, ideally in a similar B2B sales role
- A self-starter who also enjoys being part of a team

- You have a growth mindset and are always seeking to learn, improve, develop yourself
- It would be advantageous but not essential to have a solid understanding of sales methodologies, including MEDDIC and SPIN selling, to align our value proposition to the clients needs
Desirable
- Ideally, you are a recent grad with a background in finance, business or law, looking to start a career in sales
What the job involves
- Liaising directly with founders and decision-makers every day from the most innovative startups to identify the perfect fundraising product and strategy for their goals
- Effectively managing an exciting portfolio of up to 100 startups through CRM, ensuring efficient lead prioritisation and excellent communication throughout the sales cycle
- Understanding the nuances of individual customer needs and demonstrating exactly how the SeedLegals platform can support them
- Building strong relationships with founders and providing excellent user experience, managing them from onboarding onto the platform through to successful completion of their funding round
- Working with wider teams in the business to proactively identify new ways to help SeedLegals grow, from product changes in line with user feedback to innovating the sales strategy
- Building an in-depth knowledge of the UK startup and fundraising scene through regular training and exposure to serial entrepreneurs and investors

Increasing numbers of startups are getting funded in the UK and all require legal help with their financing.
SeedLegals identified a big burning pain: no founder wants to handle a bad fundraising experience because of legals. Previously founders would have to pay a decent chunk of the money they've just worked hard to raise, but the SeedLegals platform has provided a step change in cost.
The focus on a very specific niche (startups) has meant they have built a very tailored product, and word of mouth within startups is strong.
While they primarily focus on helping companies with fundraising, they also offer additional services (e.g. option schemes), and they're in a strong position to expand their offering to other legal needs.
