Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, webAI

• This is a hands-on position requiring deep technical expertise in both manual and automated testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software QA or test engineering, with increasing levels of responsibility
• Strong proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
• Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and version control (Git)
• Experience writing and executing test cases for distributed systems, APIs, and backend services
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• A detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to ensuring product quality

• As a Senior QA Engineer at webAI, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading quality assurance efforts across our distributed AI systems
• You will play a strategic role in shaping the testing infrastructure and quality standards, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and research teams
• You will be a champion for quality throughout the software development lifecycle—owning the definition of test plans, optimizing processes, and ensuring our platform meets high standards of performance, reliability, and security at scale
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage for new features
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using tools like Jira
• Implement continuous testing practices and integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with developers to prevent regressions
• Monitor product quality metrics and proactively suggest process improvements
