Who you are
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and any Western European Language is a must
- A formal degree in technical or comparable studies with a relevant focus
- 2+ years of practical experience in Sales, preferably for B2B Software Companies in the engineering environment
- Experience in the Automotive industry or comparable
- Natural talent for customer satisfaction, and proven skill in influencing and negotiating with people at all levels of seniority and responsibility, up to C-level of large enterprises
- Natural talent and practical experience in thinking your way into the business models of our prospects, with an ability to devise how we can create a win-win situation together
- Capability to work independently, with a goal-oriented personality and willingness to bring your ideas to the team
- Proficient MS Office skills, especially with PowerPoint and Excel, and proven experience in working with CRM systems like Salesforce
- You embody a problem-solving, multitasking, and attention-to-detail mentality and are focused on issue resolution in a deadline-driven work environment
What the job involves
- As an Inside Sales, you will take complete ownership of managing and pushing sales within one of our key accounts plus 5-10 smaller accounts and work hand-in-hand with the Head of Sales and the team to recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships
- You will get an unapparelled opportunity to communicate directly with core decision-makers of international corporations, understand their individual needs, and recommend SPREAD solutions that maximize value
- Your goal will be to use your sales and account management skills to develop new customers in the Automotive industry and beyond
- With a customer-centric approach, you will qualify their business objectives and determine how SPREAD can help them better achieve their KPIs
- You further develop and implement account strategies to engage with other departments
- Your good customer relations allow you to be in constant exchange with our customers regarding our product. You collect their requirements, validate them, and systematically identify potentials for existing and new customer groups
- You acquire new business contacts and represent SPREAD, equipped with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and many more
- You track your steps to win appointments in Salesforce, which you also use to plan your activities
- You work closely with your technical and business development colleagues and cross-functional teams and integrate them into the sales pipeline
- You will become an expert on our platform and our offering. This will enable you to react spontaneously and professionally to concerns from potential customers
- You always have your ear close to the customer and the market and therefore have an overview of current and future customer needs
- You are an evangelist for the product and therefore you can close large deals
Our take
The complexity of modern products, as well as the associated manufacturing processes, has increased over the past few decades. This growing complexity introduces three major challenges for engineers creating complex products. Firstly, the process is often inefficient, with engineers spending large amounts of time on non-productive things like coordination meetings. Secondly, information in this area is often difficult to find: engineers commonly spend around a quarter of their time searching for product information. Thirdly, creating cross-departmental understanding is often highly challenging. In short, things need to get better.
This is where SPREAD AI comes in. Its software streamlines the product design process at all stages, from providing access to part or component information to suggesting how a product can be assembled and even repaired. These high-level product insights aim to increase efficiency in the design process.
SPREAD AI has generated a lot of interest with a customer base including major manufacturers such as Audi, Ford, Miele and Porsche. This has led to the startup raising a significant amount of funding which it intends to use for early product development and growth.
