Talend provides a data integration and management platform for businesses, designed with a low-code approach to help inexperienced users unify, assess, and access data holistically. The platform features modules that serve specialist integration functionality for industries such as fintech, healthcare, and government, with further sub-modules available for operations, sales, marketing, and product intelligence data sets.
In 2023, Talend was acquired by Qlik, a business intelligence and data integration software company that is owned by the same parent company - Thoma Bravo - as Talend. In 2022, Qlik delayed an IPO due to global economic uncertainty and it remains unclear if it is to pursue one in the near future. Under Qlik, Talend will be bolstered by an enlarged client base and if the IPO moves forward, a stable and long term footing within the data integration market.
