Who you are

Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Java developer in commercial companies and demonstrable leadership experience
Experience in creating microservices using Spring Boot or related technologies
Proficient in JPA/Hibernate and SQL
Experience working in fast-paced, result-oriented agile environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical individuals
Committed to high software quality standards and proficient in dev-testing processes (unit testing, TDD, BDD etc)
Adept at problem-solving and analyzing user requirements before implementing solutions
Comfortable working with geographically dispersed team members
Comfortable working in a hybrid setup and willing to travel to the London office for weekly meetings

What the job involves

You will collaborate closely with product and customer-success teams to shape and design scalable architecture for both new and existing features
You will design, develop, and maintain features without compromising on quality
You will promote new technologies to enhance our product while maintaining a simple and robust architecture
You will consistently read, create, and improve product and technical documentation
You will help with sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, fostering agile development practices within the team
You will participate in the team-rota for on-duty shifts
You will embody and champion our company values
