Who you are
- Fluency in Spanish is not required for this position
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple competing projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience working on projects in the educational publishing industry
- Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of an organization
- Keen interest in a career in project management
- Spanish language fluency is a bonus but not required
What the job involves
- Amplify is seeking a project coordinator to support the development of print and digital products across our Literacy programs, specifically focusing on English Language Arts (ELA) products
- The project coordinator will assist in creating and monitoring schedules for content development, pre-production, and production phases
- The role involves providing tactical, detail-oriented support to the project management team and internal cross-functional teams, aligning with overarching project goals and constraints
- This is an excellent stepping stone role for someone interested in a career in project management
- Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables for print and/or digital projects of various sizes
- Understand workflows and dependencies of project components, and know the roles and responsibilities of the cross-functional teams involved
- Ensure project schedules are current and track progress of deliverables against key milestones
- Facilitate file handoffs to internal and external partners
- Assist the project management team with documenting risks, issues, decisions, and change management
- Attend relevant status meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
- Review vendor estimates and invoices against the work completed
- Make recommendations for process improvements where appropriate

The EdTech market has been growing rapidly for the last decade and more, and its value is expected to surpass 230 billion by 2030. This growth means that the company has plenty of competition from the likes of Khan Academy and Kaplan Test, but the fact that Amplify is used by around 10 million students puts it in a very strong position.
After a major growth funding round in 2021, Amplify acquired digital math tools developer Desmos. This is in keeping with its commitment to strategically acquire high-performing education companies in order to expand its own tech and product offerings.
