  • Proven success in delivering B2B software solutions, using quantitative (KPIs, metrics) and qualitative data (user research, feedback) for prioritisation
  • Experience managing complex domains such as public APIs, authentication, role-based access control, and third-party data integrations
  • Strong strategic thinking, ability to translate business goals into opportunities, and drive go-to-market success
  • Proficient in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Lean approaches to balance scope, time, and quality

What the job involves

  • Join deskbird as a (Senior) Product Manager and take ownership of some of our most critical and technically challenging product domains such as user management, permissions, and integrations to scale how customers configure, maintain, and standardise deskbird to suit their unique needs
  • Your mission is to build a scalable, flexible, and enterprise-ready application platform, while enabling other squads to build on top of your foundations and actively shaping our overall platform strategy
  • Your squad will play a key role in driving deskbird’s strategic ambition to become Europe’s leading workplace management solution serving both end-users and decision-makers alike
  • This role demands strong technical acumen. You’ll work closely with engineers as equals to design solutions that solve real customer problems while integrating seamlessly into our existing architecture. If you have experience working with APIs, IAM, roles & permissions, or integrations, this could be a great match
  • Take full ownership of our application's platform with your product squad, empowering customers to manage users, permissions, integrations, and data with ease. You’ll own the backlog, drive platform features, and be accountable for customer, technical, and business outcomes
  • Prioritise opportunities that align with our strategy and architecture, using data insights to focus on what delivers the greatest value to both customers and the business
  • Collaborate closely with Product Design and Engineering to deliver seamless user experiences in an agile environment, maintaining a healthy backlog and facilitating key ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Refinement, Retros, and Dailies
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to validate hypotheses and ensure delivery of high-impact solutions
  • Drive alignment across teams and contribute to elevating product management practices at deskbird
  • Continuously improve our product processes in collaboration with the Director of Product

Our take

Swiss-based Deskbird is on route to become Europe’s leading workplace management platform that allows companies to create ordered but flexible environments.

The company has adopted a unique approach to workplace management, offering the first workplace software built around users instead of buildings. Along with standard functionalities like booking resources, the tool that has brought the company unique success is the ability, via mobile app, to identify who of their employees are in the office and thereby schedule meetings accordingly.

Following 2023 funding, the company will invest capital into extending reach across European markets, entering the US market, and to allow expansion of its product offerings. The company's 10 year plan is to be to workforce management what Salesforce is to CRM. A lofty goal, but the company is certainly setting itself up to achieve this in due time.
