What the job involves
- As a Founding Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our application
- Your expertise will bridge the gap between front-end and server-side infrastructure using technologies like ReactJS/TypeScript for front-end, Node.jsfor the back-end
- Our system is designed in micro-services in a mono-repo architecture, ensuring a great developer experience with an high scalability
- Engineering robust front-end and back-end solutions for our platforms
- Ensuring our codebase is scalable, maintainable, and secure
- Designing and optimizing the overall architecture of our applications
- Collaborating closely with the product team to enhance user experience
- Working with the other developers hand in hand to always improve the product and the code base
- And contribute your own experience to the project 💪
Application process

- A more deep interview with the CTO to delve into your background, your skills and expertises (1h30)
- A casual meet-up with the CEO and Mat Partner @eFounder to finalize the fit and introduce you to the team environment

Our take
French startup Tengo has built a platform that helps businesses identify, analyse and respond to public tenders. Public tenders are especially important in France, with more than 40,000 companies a year pitching for public service contracts. The French government spends half a billion euros a day on these contracts, meaning that quick and effective response processes are a real draw for companies.
With AI at its core, Tengo helps speed up the public tender response process, centralising all stages of the tender process. Ultimately, Tengo will live or die on the effect it has on its clients. So far its customers have secured 35 million euros in public contracts, impressive for such a young company. This success has been supported by seed funding that will go towards enhancing its AI capabilities.
