Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in QA, marketplace operations, or trust & safety
- Technical familiarity with APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, bearer tokens), and integration testing
- Hands-on experience with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and potential issues
- Proven ability to scale operations through process design and automation
- Comfort with cross-functional collaboration in complex, fast-moving environments
- Experience with developer platforms, app stores, or marketplace operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with security review processes or vulnerability assessment (preferred)
- Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Quality Assurance Operations Manager to drive QA for third-party integrations at Anthropic
- You will build and scale the review processes that ensure plugins, agent skills, and MCP servers meet our standards for security, functionality, and trustworthiness
- This role is critical to enabling users to engage with our ecosystem with confidence—and to maintaining Anthropic's leadership position as the integrations ecosystem rapidly expands
- Quality Assurance & Review
- Execute and scale review processes for MCP servers, plugins, and agent skills—ensuring integrations meet standards for security, functionality, and user safety
- Conduct hands-on testing and validation of integration submissions, identifying issues related to authentication, error handling, and functionality
- Implement risk assessment frameworks for evaluating new integration capabilities and use cases
- Coordinate directory removals and compliance enforcement when violations occur
- Scalable Process Development
- Manage operational processes to handle high-volume submissions efficiently while maintaining quality
- Maintain automated QA frameworks and tooling to scale review capacity without sacrificing thoroughness
- Drive the roadmap for transitioning from manual to automated review systems
- Partner with Engineering teams on automation opportunities and technical requirements
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as liaison with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Safeguards teams on integration reviews and escalations
- Handle developer communications for submission feedback, rejections, and remediation guidance
- Coordinate with Business Development on priority partner integrations and commitments
- Establish review metrics and reporting to track ecosystem health and review quality

While the company is relatively new to the market it has already launched a highly anticipated AI chat assistant called Claude which is set to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT.
Similar to other chatbots, Claude is accessible through a chat interface and can provide a number of conversation and text-processing tasks. A key point of differentiation is that Claude is designed to produce less harmful outputs than that of the other chatbots that came before it.
While there is much praise for the chat assistant, there is still room for improvement with feedback reporting that Claude is worse at maths and grammar compared to its rival.
