Who you are
- We are looking for an analytical, hands-on and business minded sales professional with the ability to develop, implement and execute strategy for new business verticals in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Fluent in English
- A track record of working with strategic b2b-sales, business- and partnership development, exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced sales environment
- Good understanding of key marketing metrics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience from building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Experience from managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and business growth
- A network of advertisers, agencies, and media buyers across key European markets and ability to create mockups to visualize the client offering is a merit
What the job involves
- As the Head of New Business Development you will spearhead the development of our new verticals, advertising and B2B
- In this role you will report to our Director of Market Development, collaborate closely with the CEO and use your expertise, network, strategic mindset and grit in leveraging Voi’s availability and high-visibility in the urban space to continue the development of the two business verticals, execute sales strategies and drive new revenue streams
- Working proactively to identify and approach relevant advertisers, media agencies, brands and businesses
- Developing and executing sales strategies to build relevant partnerships, close high-value deals and drive revenue growth
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to optimise the solutions
- Monitoring and analysing sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to refine the go-to-market strategy
- Ensuring and having full accountability for the growing customer base, smooth and successful campaign execution, strong client relationships and repeat business

Micromobility plays an important role in shaping fossil-free cities and Voi wants to make sure the transformation happens in the right way. The company is a leading e-scooter operator working to create towns and cities made for living, free from congestion, noise and pollution.
To create an effective micromobility service, Voi ensures that users have access to safe and solid vehicles out in the streets, an easy-to-use app and efficient operations. To ensure this, the company owns, controls and develops all aspects of its service, from tech platform, hardware, fleet operations, to marketing and policy work. This enables fast decision-making and execution, and allows Voi to use its data as a compass to guide it towards optimised rides.
Sustainability is a part of the company's DNA; since January 2020 its service has become carbon neutral in all cities, and future plans include a goal to become climate-positive by 2030. The company's popularity is clear – it has reached 100 million rides – yet it has struggled to remain profitable. In 2021 Voi reduced its spending and the company is currently shrinking its global headcount, which is hoped to accelerate its path to profitability. Nevertheless, Voi has enjoyed success in British cities such as Gloucester and Cambridge.
