• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in user research or a related field
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• We are looking for a highly skilled user researcher in Austin to conduct greenfield research studies, and analyze data to provide actionable insights, inform product opportunities to improve the end-to-end real estate transaction experience, and enhance our current product offering
• You will play a critical role in understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and motivations
• Develop and execute research plans, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies
• Recruit and screen participants for research studies
• Facilitate research sessions, ensuring a positive and productive experience for participants
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify trends, patterns, and user insights
• Synthesize research findings into clear and actionable recommendations
• Communicate research results effectively to product teams, stakeholders, and leadership
• Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development process
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and product teams to ensure that user needs are met
• Contribute to the development of user types, journey maps, and other user-centered artifacts
• Proficient in using research tools and software, such as Qualtrics, UserTesting, and Figma
